How to register for OPTICAL 88 CLUB membership?

Click HERE now to setup your OPTICAL 88 CLUB member account! At the page of “Create An Account”, fill in all the required information (indicated with “*”), click “Register”, and select the latest purchase record from OPTICAL 88 retail stores for account binding.

*Remarks: Account binding shall not be amended after setup. If you choose to skip the binding, a new account will be created. You may not be able to check the past prescription for future purchase or repurchase of contact lens.

 

I have made purchase in OPTICAL 88 retail stores. How to bind both member accounts?

After entering your personal information, our system will pair up your mobile phone number. Please select your member account for the binding. You may check your prescriptions for future purchase of prescription glasses, contact lens and service appointment.

Why more than one accounts of mine are shown during account binding?

If you or your family made purchase from several stores with the same mobile phone number, more than one member accounts may be shown. If you have any question, please contact us (E-mail: [email protected]).

May I finish the registration first and bind the member accounts later?

No. You must do the account binding during the membership registration. If you choose to skip the binding, binding shall not be reset in the future. A new account will be created by the system. You may not be able to check the past prescription for future purchase or repurchase of contact lens.

 

May I change the account bound?

No. Account could not be unbound or rebound. You need to recreate another OPTICAL 88 CLUB member account to perform such actions.

How to update my personal information in the account?

When you log in to the account, you may update your information in “Account Information” at “My Account” page. If you wish to update your mobile phone number or email address, verification is needed.

 

How can I retrieve my password If I have forgotten it?

A link to change the password will be sent to your registered email. The password will be changed once new password is reset.

 

Can I share my account with my relatives or my children?

No. Please create individual account for your relatives or children, so their prescription records and appointment of service could be saved individually in each account. By doing so, we could provide you more personalized purchase experience and service.

 

【Online Shopping Process】

1. Fill in personal information and register as a member of OPTICAL 88 Club or log in to your member account.

2. Select desired products or services.

3. Choose the desired colour and quantity to order and click "Add to Cart."

4. After completing the selection, click "My Cart" and "Go to Checkout" in the upper right corner.

5. Check and confirm the products/services and quantities in the order summary.

6. Enter the shipping address and select the shipping method.

7. If you need to use a promotion code or E-coupon code, please enter it on the payment page and click "Apply."

8. Select the payment method and click "Place Order" to make the purchase.

9. Complete the transaction.

How to purchase prescription in OPTICAL 88 E-shop?

At present, customers cannot purchase prescription glasses at OPTICAL 88 Online Store. You can buy the net frame at OPTICAL 88 Online Store and choose to pick it up at the store. After that, you can get an eye test at the store and choose a lens.

 

Any warranty for my purchased glasses, sunglasses and lens?

We provide 1 year warranty for frame and sunglasses purchased from OPTICAL 88 E-shop. Please keep your original sales memo, warranty card, entire glasses and any parts (if any)). Please bring along the frame and sales memo to our stores for warranty or repair.

 

Contact Lens

How to purchase contact lens in OPTICAL 88 E-shop?

  • Login to your OPTICAL 88 CLUB member account
  • Select contact lens product
  • Choose the prescription you obtained from retail store (account should be bound with retail member account to enjoy this function), upload valid contact lens prescription
  • Choose color and quantity
  • Confirm and add to shopping cart

 

Why my contact lens prescription record is not in “My Past Prescription Record” while choosing prescription for my contact lens in OPTICAL 88 E-shop?

Because:

  • Your prescription record in OPTICAL 88 retail store exceed 1 year. We recommend visiting retail store for eye examination. Or
  • Your selected contact lens is different from your past purchase (it must be the same brand and product). Or
  • Your glasses prescription is not suitable for purchasing contact lens. Or
  • You did not bind your account with the retail account in registration. Or
  • You have wrongly bound other member account in registration (Please contact us at [email protected]).

 

Can I purchase contact lens with my own prescription record?

You may purchase contact lens with valid prescription. According to “The Code of Practice of Optometrists Board Hong Kong”, please ensure your uploaded prescription include below information:

  1. Full Name of Customer;
  2. Full Name of Optometrist/ Medical Practitioner and Phone Number;
  3. Parameters of the Contact Lenses (including Lens Power, Base Curve and Product Name);
  4. Prescription Expiry Date (not more than 12 months from the date of examination);
  5. Date of Examination; and
  6. Signature of Optometrist/ Medical Practitioner.

 

Can I purchase contact lens with my glasses’ prescription?

No. Prescription for glasses and contact lens are different.

 

How can I purchase contact lens if I do not have OPTICAL 88 purchasing record or other prescription?

You can try on and buy contact lenses at retail store, and then your record will save into system. After that, you can buy contact lenses at online store.

*Remark: $200 trial fee can be waived if you buy contact lenses at the same time.

How can I pay?

You may pay with Paypal, VISA, Master, Apple Pay, Google Pay, AliPay HK and WeChat Pay HK.

 

How to use E-COUPON?

You can enter the E-COUPON code before payment to get discount. Please copy the coupon code in "E-COUPON".

 

How can I enjoy free shipping?

You can enjoy free shipping upon purchase of HK$250 if you choose store pick up. Delivery fee of HK$20 would be charged with purchase less than HK$250.

You can enjoy free shipping upon purchase of HK$350 if you choose SF Express delivery method. Delivery fee of HK$38 would be charged with purchase less than HK$350.

 

How long does it usually take to ship?

After confirming your order and payment, general merchandise will be delivered in about 3-5 working days. If the order includes contact lenses or other products with specific delay shipping days, it will take about 8-14 working days to arrive. When the order arrives at the OPTICAL 88 retail store or the SF Express store location, you will receive a "Pickup Notification" SMS or email. The accurate delivery time is subject to SMS or email. Please pay attention to SMS or email.

 

How to check the order details and status?

You may check the order details and status at “My Order” page under “My Account” after login.

 

Can I change my product purchase and delivery details after payment?

No change shall be made for all confirmed order.

 

Can the product be exchanged?

At OPTICAL 88’s discretion, OPTICAL 88 may consider customer's request for an exchange of frames, lenses, sunglasses or contact lenses purchased at OPTICAL 88 stores (excluding Outlets) if the frames or sunglasses purchase at our stores are under a valid warranty AND a manufacturing defect is confirmed by OPTICAL 88. OPTICAL 88 may either exchange the item or repair the defective part. Exchange will be limited to the same brand and model only, subject to stock availability.

Electrical appliances and other products: You are required to contact us within 7 days upon receiving the products. You must exchange the same product and subject to our stock. After 7 days, the product will be under the manufacturer’s warranty period and you need to contact the dealer for repair.

If you find product quality issue or product not equivalent to your order after receiving them, please contact our customer service department (E-mail: [email protected]) in 7 days. Exchange request is not accepted after 7 days.

 

Are promotions in retail store valid on E-shop purchase?

Promotional campaign in retail store and E-shop vary so different price for same products may appear.

How would I know my order has arrived retail store?

When the order arrives the destinated retail store, you will receive email notification. Please follow the instruction and pick up the products before the deadline.

 

When is the deadline to pick the product up at the store?

Please pick the products up at the store within 5 days after receiving the pick-up notification.

 

What information I shall provide when pick up product at store?

Please show the email pickup notification, and “My order” page with website login.

 

Can I change to pick up at store and delivery method after order confirmation?

No change on delivery method shall be made for all confirmed order.
